The Purpose of this Site
This site has been created to help you design online courses which are effective and accessible for all students, including students with disabilities.
Universal Design & Best Practices
Although many of these recommendations address specific accessibility issues, most, if not all, of the guidelines found here will benefit students overall and are considered best practices for online course development.
Where to Start
We suggest starting either at the Orientation for New Faculty Videos (about 9 minutes each) or with the Accessibility Checklist.
