Melanie Thornton works half time for pepnet 2 as the Special Projects Associate and half time for University of Arkansas CURRENTS as the Leadership Development Facilitator. She is passionate about facilitating discussions that challenge organizations, agencies and individuals to embrace the values of inclusion, equity and social justice as tools in the reinvention of their professional identities, values and work. Melanie worked for 12 years at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Disability Resource Center as the Director of Project PACE, a grant-funded program and later as the Associate Director of the Disability Resource Center. Melanie earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Gallaudet University.
